Who is an Anglo-Indian?
Article 366(2) of the Constitution of India defines “an Anglo-Indian” as a person whose father or any of whose other male progenitors in the male line is or was of European descent but who is domiciled within the territory of India and is or was born within such territory of parents habitually resident therein and not established there for temporary purposes only.

OUR COMMUNITY
The main purpose AIWA is to bring together the scattered minority Anglo-Indian community in the Archdiocese of Delhi, on one platform and to cater to their welfare. The community is going through many problems, and these could be addressed only when they are presented through an appropriate forum to the authorities.
